The work that followed started close to the ground. Refinishing basketball floors. Remodeling homes. Inspecting them. Work that required reading a space before you could say anything useful about it. That instinct didn't leave when the work became less physical. It just found new rooms. Advertising. Design. Strategy. Innovation. Experience.

The through-line was never the title. It was curiosity; as a trait, as a working method. The kind that surfaces what’s real before everyone commits to what isn’t.
